The folks at Caring.com recently reached out and asked us to share information about memory care.

This paragraph from their website explains why it's important: : "About seven in 10 adults over 65 will require long-term care at some point in their lives, according to the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. And according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, half of all residents of long-term care facilities live with cognitive impairment. "

The first thing they wanted to share was an overview of what memory care is all about. It's a pretty comprehensive piece that covers everything from the basics of what it is to how it compares to other care options to how it can be paid for.

To be clear, we are not endorsing any particular service, merely sharing information we think you might find useful.
